Where did you learn how to create this art?

I have taught myself how to do everything here including the website design and build. Most everything was learned by trial and error, and some wonderful crtiques by my family and friends.

 

 

When did you start making art?

Like the rest of us I started as a child - coloring, scribbling, and anything else I could think of doing. I have never been able to draw, sketch or paint very well (at least i think not), and I have been trying to find a medium that would allow me to express myself. I stumbled across some digital artwork on the web and I was hooked.

 

 

What and Who, are your inspirations?

I will start with the WHO's...

My mother was my first influence in the world of artistic expression, she is an AMAZING artist in many mediums. She is a painter, cartoonist, potter, sculpter, stained glass artist, and anything else she puts her mind to. I spent many days travelling with her to art shows to sell her work and see the work of other artisans, it was an amazing time for me. Her influence will always be with me and she will always be an inspiration.

My wife is another influence in my life, and she has encouraged me to pursue my dreams and allowed me the time to commit to them. She is an absolutely INCREDIBLE woman, and I am lucky to have her in my life. Heather, I LOVE YOU!!!

My children are also my influence, but also they are why I want to do this... I one day hope to have more time at home with them (my wife too), and hopefully this is a vehicle to help me get there.

The WHAT's:

I am a science fiction fanatic, anything and everything. The first introduction to sci-fi I remember is my mother telling me about this new show coming to TV and that she thought I might like to see it. So there we were one evening sitting in front of the neighbors TV (they had color) and on came STAR TREK, the original show in 1966. Yep, I have been a Trekkie ever since. I have of course since then read amost every sci-fi book I could get my hands on and seen every TV show and movie I could. The books always were the best because it was my imagination of the scenes that was the beginning of this ART for me.

 

 

A little about me:

I am a golfer, artist, speaker, motivator, business manager, and entrepreneur. I live in Pennsylvania with my beautiful wife and two children.

I was an accomplished High School Athlete and Scholar. I attended OU and studied Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, Business Management, Computer Science, and Applied Mathematics to the Sciences. I was on the 6 year program because I had a lot of things I wanted to learn and my fascination with Science and everything scientific kept me learning. This is where I had my first exposure to fractals and I have been hooked ever since.

 

 

Fractal Manipulation

My latest designs have been created using multiple fractals that I have combined them in to one image. That image is a fractal photo-manipulation. The images in my galleries will be grouped by type of art.
